Abstract
A recent study conducted by the Faculty of Social Sciences in Hamilton, Canada, explored the relationship between leisure-time physical activity (LTPA) and mental health among Arab Canadians. Despite awareness of the benefits of LTPA, a high prevalence of physical inactivity (87%) was found among participants. The study highlighted inequities in LTPA levels based on age, gender, socio-economic status, and immigration status within Arab communities, emphasizing the need for collaborative efforts to address these disparities and promote health equity.
