Abstract

The article presents an unpublished letter by Scottish poet and writer Sir Walter Scott to his cousin William Scott of Raeburn, dated May 1, 1826. The letter states Walter's acceptance of the proposal of his cousin to stay in his place in Abbotsford, England so he could go to the election, as well as the condition of Lady Scott.
