Abstract
Greek Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis expressed his desire to maintain good relations with the UK after his meeting with British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak was canceled due to a dispute over the Parthenon Sculptures, also known as the Elgin Marbles. Mitsotakis stated that he wants to move past the incident and emphasized the importance of the longstanding relationship between the two countries. The sculptures, currently housed in London's British Museum, are claimed by both Greece and the UK. Efforts to resolve the dispute and potentially display the sculptures in Athens have been ongoing.
