Abstract

UNIMA USA has announced the recipients of their 2024 Citation of Excellence. The recipients include "Aanika's Elephants" by Little Shadow Productions, which tells the story of a Kenyan girl who befriends a baby elephant, "Marooned! A Space Comedy" by Alex and Olmsted, which follows an astronaut stranded on an uncharted planet, and "Tesla vs Edison" by the Center for Puppetry Arts, which explores the feud between Nikola Tesla and Thomas Edison. These productions were recognized for their script, direction, design, and overall production value. The UNIMA-USA Citations for Excellence aim to stimulate and reward excellent puppet theater.
