Abstract
The article focuses on AirSeed, a company using artificial intelligence (AI)-controlled drones to accelerate reforestation in landscapes damaged by natural disasters such as floods and wildfires in Australia. AirSeed’s drones airdrop specially designed seed pods, geo-tagging each location to monitor restoration progress, enabling planting up to 25 times faster and at 80% lower cost than traditional hand-planting methods. This technology aims to restore forests and biodiversity more efficiently, supporting wildlife, air purification, and soil rehabilitation. The article also offers a simple guide for readers to make seed balls to help local environments. [Extracted from the article]
