Abstract
The article examines two Glagolitic fragments from the 13th to 14th centuries, housed in Berčić's collection, which contain homilies by Bede the Venerable. These fragments are significant for understanding the early Croatian Glagolitic liturgical tradition, particularly in the context of the island of Prvić, a historical center of Glagolitic culture. The analysis highlights the rarity of Bede's homilies in the Croatian Glagolitic liturgical corpus and suggests that these fragments preserve an older tradition of selecting homiletic texts. The study contributes to the broader understanding of Glagolitic heritage and the development of early Croatian liturgical texts. [Extracted from the article]
