Abstract
The MetLife Foundation has announced an additional $1 million commitment to its Community Impact Grant Program. The program, which was launched in June 2023, has been successful in expanding the foundation's impact and involvement in communities where MetLife operates. Led by a committee of MetLife employee volunteers, the program awards grants to local grassroots organizations that address emergency needs of people with low-to-moderate incomes and communities affected by income and wealth disparities. The program focuses on four areas: hunger relief and nutrition, physical and mental well-being, environmental sustainability, and quality of life. [Extracted from the article]
