Abstract
This article provides a comprehensive overview of various topics related to the film industry in the early 20th century. It explores the work of Gabriel Navarro, a Mexican immigrant and film critic, who analyzed the relationship between mass culture and Mexican audiences in the US. The article also discusses the diverse and exotic atmosphere of Hollywood, the struggles faced by aspiring actors, and the portrayal of Mexican history and society in films.
