Abstract
Researchers from Sun Yat-sen University in Guangzhou, China have conducted a study on the connection between glossolalia (parts of an invented language) and the writings of Antonin Artaud, a French artist. They found that Artaud's use of glossolalia in his work was influenced by his translation of Lewis Carroll's Through the Looking-Glass. The researchers argue that Artaud used glossolalia to challenge psychiatric practice and expose misconceptions in psychiatric and psychoanalytical theories. The study has been peer-reviewed and published in the Australian Journal of French Studies. [Extracted from the article]
