Abstract

This article is a review of the book "Poe and Women: Recognition and Revision," which explores the relationship between Edgar Allan Poe and women. The book examines how Poe's portrayal of women characters influenced women writers and artists. It includes essays by various women critics who analyze Poe's themes and characters from different perspectives, as well as the contributions of women scholars from foreign countries. The book also explores cinematic and comic book adaptations of Poe's stories, as well as his influence on female pulp writers and contemporary horror writers.
