Abstract
Slash, the hard-rock guitar hero, surprised fans by releasing an album of blues and soul standards and embarking on the S.E.R.P.E.N.T tour with guests like Samantha Fish and Christone ‘Kingfish’ Ingram. Despite his rock roots, Slash credits blues music as the foundation of his guitar playing, drawing inspiration from legends like Muddy Waters and Howlin’ Wolf. The tour, named after Solidarity, Engagement, Restore, Peace, Equality N’ Tolerance, featured a diverse lineup of blues performers and supported various charities to promote inclusivity and unity through music.
