Abstract
This article provides a brief overview of archaeological discoveries from around the world. In Massachusetts, the homestead of King Pompey Mansfield, a formerly enslaved man who became one of the region's first Black property owners, has been located. In Mexico City, excavations in a temple called the Great Basement revealed a burial chamber with offerings likely used for self-sacrifice. In England, stone projectiles from the Second Barons' War were found at Kenilworth Castle. In Benin, evidence suggests that King Ghezo incorporated human blood into ceremonial structures. Other discoveries include early human settlement sites in Chile, defensive works from Spartacus' revolt in Italy, a Buddhist statue in Malaysia, a Neolithic burial mound in the Czech Republic, ancient wooden artifacts in Australia, and an Etruscan house in Corsica.
