Abstract
The article discusses the death of Yasser Arafat, the Chairman of the Palestine Liberation Organization and the first President of the Palestinian Authority. The author argues that Arafat's death marks a crucial turning point in world history and emphasizes the need for peace in the Middle East. The author also criticizes the actions of the United States, particularly the war in Iraq, and calls for the invocation of the Treaty of Westphalia to bring about peace between Israel and Palestine.
