Abstract
NASA has launched a $5.2 billion mission to Jupiter's moon Europa in order to determine if the moon has the potential to support life. The Europa Clipper spacecraft was launched aboard a SpaceX Falcon Heavy rocket and is expected to reach Europa by 2030. The spacecraft will perform flybys of Europa over four years, coming as close as 16 miles to its surface. Scientists are particularly interested in Europa because of its massive ocean believed to be beneath its icy crust, which could potentially support life. The spacecraft is equipped with nine instruments to study the moon in detail and gather data about its potential habitability. [Extracted from the article]
