Abstract
Kosovo has reopened two border crossings with Serbia after Serbian groups removed their blockades, signaling a decrease in tensions in the region. The blockades were in response to recent political actions in the north of Kosovo, which is predominantly Serb. Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti's government had shut down Serbian-financed institutions in Serb-majority municipalities, leading to the Serbian groups demanding the withdrawal of Kosovo police from Serb-majority areas and the reinstatement of the Serbian dinar. The international community has criticized the conflict between Kosovo and Serbia, urging both parties to engage in dialogue. [Extracted from the article]
