Abstract

The author ponders whether expanding rail access will transpire in New Hampshire. Topics include routes of the passenger trains of Amtrak in New Hampshire, the launch of Amtrak's Downeaster in 2001 and its revenues in fiscal year 2025, efforts to expand passenger rail into New Hampshire that have encountered roadblocks and the commuter rail initiative in Nashua.
