Abstract
The article reports on the announcement of the 108th annual Pulitzer Prizes in Journalism and Arts and Letters, highlighting winners across categories such as fiction, nonfiction, history, biography, memoir, poetry, and drama. ProPublica received the Public Service award for investigative reporting on U.S. Supreme Court ethics, while two special citations honored the late writer Greg Tate and journalists covering the war in Gaza. The Pulitzer Prize Board also addressed ongoing threats to journalism, including the imprisonment of reporter Evan Gershkovich in Russia and recent tensions at Columbia University involving protests, police actions, and challenges faced by student journalists. The upcoming Pulitzer ceremony is scheduled for October at Columbia University.
