Abstract

The article presents the discussion on Charles XII of Sweden dreamed of being a second Alexander the Great. Topics include many newspapers and journals praising the teenage king for the heroic defence of the homeland by beating each of his enemies in turn; and Charles agreed to restore Protestantism to Silesia viewing as a champion against Catholicism.
