Abstract

The article features Firearms Instruction, Training & Sales (FITS), a retail gun shop and a firearms training center in Sildell, Louisiana which is owned and staffed entirely by women. Topics discussed include concealed carry permit classes and all-female classes offered by FITS, Candy Straughan and Jennifer Gebhardt's management of FITS, and their affiliation with Armed Women of America and Women for Gun Rights.
