Abstract
The article discusses significant historical military events and developments, including the first use of tanks in combat by Britain during the Battle of Flers-Courcelette in 1916, and the establishment of the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) in 1947. It also covers the start of the Iran-Iraq War in 1980, Ukraine's Kharkiv counter-offensive against Russian forces in 2022, and the encirclement of Leningrad by German troops during World War II.
