Abstract
The article informs that in 2022, three Irish people including Percy Ludgate, Percy Edwin Ludgate and George Boole, who have made significant contributions to the development of computer science in Ireland and abroad, were commemorated with plaques from the National Committee for Commemorative Plaques in Science and Technology. Ludgate published the world's second design for a computer in 1909. His analytical machine was based on multiply-and-accumulating mechanical ideas.
