Abstract

The article discusses the work of Swiss architect Albert Frey, who played a significant role in bringing Modernist architecture to the United States. Born in Zurich in 1903, Frey was inspired by Le Corbusier's ideas and moved to Paris to work with him. He later emigrated to the US in 1930 and settled in Palm Springs, where he designed numerous buildings, including the Aluminaire House.
