Abstract

The article discusses various updates and developments in the field of helicopters. It mentions that the US Coast Guard has received the first replacement airframes for the Sikorsky MH-60T Jayhawk helicopters. GE Aerospace has been awarded a contract by NATO to study powerplant concepts for the Next Generation Rotorcraft Capability program. Leonardo and Pratt & Whitney Canada have successfully flown an AW139 helicopter powered entirely by sustainable aviation fuel. Germany has ordered 82 Airbus H145M helicopters for its military.
