Abstract

The article offers information on the Eastern Pequot Archaeological Field School which is a collaborative effort between the Eastern Pequot Tribal Nation and the University of Massachusetts Boston. It provides the methodologies and theoretical frameworks employed by the field school team, which includes students, faculty, and members of the Eastern Pequot community; and the importance of community involvement in archaeological research.
