Abstract

This article introduces a double issue of VPR (Victorian Periodicals Review) for spring and summer 2024, highlighting its diverse content including award-winning essays, an interview with Brian Maidment, and research on topics such as transnational feminism, copyright, Chartism and imperialism, and pseudonymous voices in nineteenth-century periodicals. It also announces two upcoming special issues focused on periodical pedagogy and Victorian periodical press studies, along with a call for submissions for the annual VPR prizes opening in May 2025. The issue aims to reflect the dynamic field of nineteenth-century periodical studies and encourages readers to engage with its varied scholarship.
