Abstract

Craft Recordings has released three new albums in their ongoing reissue series, all of which are presented in stunning stereo sound and cut from the original master tapes. The first album, "Jazz at Oberlin" by the Dave Brubeck Quartet, was recorded in 1953 and showcased Brubeck's cool and melodic approach to jazz. The second album, "Sunday at the Village Vanguard" by the Bill Evans Trio, is considered a defining acoustic piano trio recording. The third album, "The Cats" by Tommy Flanagan, features exceptional talents on the verge of stardom and showcases both individual brilliance and collective ensemble synergy. All three albums come with deluxe packaging and high-quality sound. [Extracted from the article]
