Abstract
The article examines how the Dewey Decimal Classification's editorial process evaluates and updates terminology focusing on current proposals to revise entries related to Indigenous groups and the Mi'kmaq language.Topics include the structure and role of the Dewey Editorial Policy Committee; step-by-step procedures for proposing and reviewing DDC changes; and the rationale for updating Indigenous group terminology and language-based identifiers.
