Abstract

Ford Motor Co. has reduced the price of its electric Mustang Mach-E by up to $8,100 after experiencing a 51% drop in sales in January. The price cuts apply to various versions of the 2023 model, with the starting price now at $39,895. This decrease in price comes after the automaker lost eligibility for a $3,750 US tax credit due to changes in stimulus measures. Ford is also reducing production of the Mach-E and the F-150 Lightning plug-in pickup truck. [Extracted from the article]
