Abstract

The article focuses on the life and legacy of Queen Nefertiti, an influential figure in ancient Egypt who became renowned for her beauty and her role as a royal consort and later as a pharaoh. Nefertiti, married to King Akhenaten, played a significant part in the religious transformation of Egypt, promoting the worship of the sun disc Aten over traditional deities. Despite her prominence, much of her early life remains a mystery, with only a few known details about her family and origins. Following Akhenaten's death, Nefertiti briefly ruled as King Neferneferuaten, attempting to restore traditional religious practices before her own disappearance from historical records. The search for her tomb continues, with various theories suggesting she may have been buried in the Valley of the Kings, but her final resting place remains unknown. [Extracted from the article]
