Abstract

A Mexican naval vessel, the Cuauhtémoc, carrying 277 people, collided with the Brooklyn Bridge, resulting in the deaths of two crew members and injuries to 22 others, 11 critically. The ship, part of a global annual tour, was in New York City before the incident.
