Abstract
Rail workers in Canada have voted in favor of a strike, which could disrupt supply chains across the country and into the United States. The union representing over 9,000 employees at Canadian National Railway and Canadian Pacific Kansas City said the strike is intended to address crew fatigue. The work stoppage is expected to begin on May 22 and would impact the transportation of various products, as well as commuter services. The rail companies are working to avoid a strike, as it would have significant economic consequences. [Extracted from the article]
