Abstract
The article explores books poet John Milton read and owned. Topics discussed include insight on his prose "Areopagitica" and political tract "Defensio Secunda," books he shipped to England from Venice, according to his nephew Edward Phillips, and overview on Jackson Boswell's book "Milton's Library: A Catalogue of the Remains of John Milton's Library and an Annotated Reconstruction of Milton's Library and Ancillary Readings."
