Abstract
If you watch a lot of true crime shows you might be familiar with a show called Snapped: Killer Couples which follows cases where couples commit crimes such as murder together. Relationships where partners commit crimes together are commonly referred to as the Bonnie and Clyde syndrome, named after the notorious American crime duo Bonnie and Clyde who went on a 21-month robbery spree from 1932 to 1934 (Jenkins, 2023).
