Abstract

Lutherland, located in the states of Saxony-Anhalt and Thuringia in Germany, is a region with significant historical connections to the German Reformation led by Martin Luther. It boasts 11 UNESCO World Heritage Sites, including Wartburg Castle and the Bauhaus properties in Dessau and Weimar. Visitors can explore picturesque villages, palaces, churches, and ancient forests, while also enjoying the region's renowned food and drink. Of particular interest are the Luther sites in Eisleben and Wittenberg, where Luther was born and where the German Reformation began. Wartburg Castle in Eisenach is also significant, as it was where Luther sought refuge and translated the Bible. [Extracted from the article]
