Abstract
The article focuses on the development of a novel approach that combines cognitive radio (CR) technology with an image encryption technique to securely transmit medical images. It addresses the challenges of ensuring security and efficiency in the transmission of sensitive medical data, particularly in telemedicine applications. The proposed method utilizes a convolutional neural network for spectrum sensing and introduces a Code-based Intermittent Encryption Algorithm (CBIEA) that selectively encrypts critical regions of medical images while generating QR codes for secure data retrieval. The results indicate that this approach significantly enhances efficiency and security, achieving a 90% improvement over traditional methods in terms of peak signal-to-noise ratio and structural similarity index.
