Abstract
All of the English essays generated with the aid of AI were flagged as AI generated, including the AI-translated or paraphrased, non-English, human-written essays. Moreover, this study confirms the capability of countermeasure tools (themselves ironically using AI) to identify AI-aided translation and paraphrasing tools. Furthermore, questions exist on how writing that has been partially aided by AI (e.g. AI translated or AI paraphrased) will fare against such detection tools. [Extracted from the article]
