Abstract

A study conducted by Zhejiang Normal University in Jinhua, People's Republic of China, explored the relationship between a negative sense of place in school environments and malevolent creativity among Chinese high school students. The research found that a negative sense of place positively predicted malevolent creativity and was associated with negative coping styles. Coping styles were identified as mediating the relationship between negative sense of place and malevolent creativity. The study provides insights for strategies to reduce malevolent creativity and prevent harmful creative behaviors in educational settings. [Extracted from the article]
