Abstract
The Justice Department's Office on Violence Against Women is accepting applications for the Rural Domestic Violence, Dating Violence, Sexual Assault, and Stalking Program. The program aims to improve the safety of rural victims of these crimes and prevent them in rural areas. The deadline for applications is April 12, 2024, and a total of $36.4 million is available for up to 55 awards. Eligible applicants include colleges and universities, nonprofit organizations, and state, local, and Native American tribal governments. The program supports projects that involve law enforcement, prosecutors, victim service providers, and other stakeholders to investigate and prosecute these crimes, provide victim services, and develop or strengthen programs addressing sexual assault.
