Abstract
The article discusses President Donald Trump's reaction to a ruling by the US Court of International Trade that deemed most of his tariffs illegal. Trump criticized the judges, including Timothy Reif, whom he appointed, and specifically targeted the Federalist Society and its leader, Leonard Leo, for allegedly providing him with poor advice on judicial appointments. The ruling stated that Trump exceeded his authority under a 1977 emergency law, a decision that has been temporarily paused by a federal appeals court. Trump expressed concern that his judicial appointees may be more loyal to Leo than to him, and he called for the US Supreme Court to overturn the ruling. [Extracted from the article]
