Abstract

In the article, the author discusses updates in the eminent domain notice requirements in the U.S. by examining the ruling by the Commonwealth Court of Pennsylvania in the case Bindas v. Department of Transportation. Also cited are the provision of the State Highway Law on the condemnations for highway construction and how the ruling showed the court's move to favor the interest of the government over the interests of landowners.
