Abstract
The article discusses the launch of CAP Index's Crimes Against Society (CAS) index scores, which aim to help businesses understand social behaviors impacting community safety perceptions. The CAS scores assess patterns such as drug violations, trespassing, and disorderly conduct, providing insights into social instability that traditional crime metrics may overlook. This new scoring system complements existing measures of Crimes Against People and Crimes Against Property, enhancing the CRIMECAST system's ability to analyze localized crime risks. CAP Index's approach allows organizations to make informed decisions regarding safety and operational stability across various locations in the U.S. [Extracted from the article]
