Abstract
This article applies a trustworthiness framework, developed by the author along with Harvard Business School professor Sandra Sucher, on business use of generative artificial intelligence (genAI). The four dimensions of trust expanded on in the article are competence, motives, means, and impact. In exploring these dimensions IBM Corp., Takeda Pharmaceuticals and Lionbridge Technologies are discussed. Additionally, the four different types of fairness are examined in the context of the means angle of trust.
