Abstract
Climate activist Greta Thunberg has been acquitted of breaking public protest laws after being arrested during an oil and gas conference in London. The judge ruled that Thunberg and four other protesters were not in violation of the law because the police did not properly organize or communicate the public order to the protesters. Thunberg's lawyer called for the government to focus on addressing the climate crisis rather than prosecuting peaceful protestors. The trial and arrests highlight the stricter policing of protests since new laws were implemented in May. [Extracted from the article]
