Abstract

The article discusses the experiences of women working in the CIA, highlighting the challenges they faced in a male-dominated environment. The author reflects on her own experiences as a covert CIA officer and the sexism she encountered. The article also explores the history of women in the CIA, from their recruitment during World War II to the present day. While progress has been made, the author acknowledges that discrimination and barriers to success still exist for female CIA officers. The book mentioned in the article, "The Sisterhood: The Secret History of Women at the CIA" by Liza Mundy, provides further insight into the contributions and struggles of women in the agency.
