Abstract

Meagan Wolfe, the administrator of the Wisconsin elections commission, has witnessed a concerning shift in public perception of the voting process over the past four years. Despite presenting facts and being transparent about their work, there is still persistent misinformation about the accuracy of vote counting. Wolfe, who holds a nonpartisan position, has faced continuous attacks, intimidation, and death threats, as well as calls for her resignation. False claims about Wisconsin elections can drain public resources, but Wolfe and her staff have been working to combat misinformation. The most effective breakthroughs have come from voters who become poll workers and find no evidence of misconduct. Wolfe encourages others with concerns to get involved and see the process for themselves. [Extracted from the article]
