Abstract

The article presents the discussion on anxiety and excessive drinking in adolescents being reversed by gene editing. Topics include series of investigations on binge drinking in adolescents creating changes in the brain leading to increased anxiety and excessive drinking in adulthood; and alcohol exposure in adolescents lowering the expression of a gene working in the amygdala.
