Abstract
The article focuses on a legal case where Knights of Columbus Council 2616 alleged that the Town of Fairfield violated their First Amendment rights. Topics include the denial of a permit for their Christmas Vigil, the Town's permitting scheme, and claims of religious discrimination under the First Amendment. The court found that the Town's actions were pretextual, applied content-based restrictions, and violated the free exercise of religion.
