Abstract
This article examines the relationship between sociodemographic, occupational, lifestyle, and psychosocial factors and the quality of life (QoL) of public prosecutors (PP) in a Brazilian Public Prosecutor's Office (PPO). Using cluster analysis on survey data from 355 Brazilian PPs, three distinct groups with differing QoL levels were identified, each with unique predictors: the highest QoL cluster was associated with longer employment duration, non-sedentary lifestyle, good sleep quality, and social support; the lowest QoL cluster correlated with poor sleep quality, low social support, and high occupational stress; and the intermediate QoL cluster included religiosity alongside sleep quality, social support, and occupational stress as predictors. The study highlights the importance of occupational health services in promoting healthy lifestyles, reducing work stress, and enhancing social support to improve QoL among public prosecutors, which may also contribute to more effective judicial performance.
