Abstract
The article discusses the issue of whether the right to vote of people with felony convictions in the U.S. should be suspended and the reasons why states should enact uniform laws on the topic. Also cited are the Congressional Research Service data on the number of people in American prisons, and the reasons why said people should not be allowed to vote like it is a form of punishment.
