Abstract

The article focuses on the 2023 transition of Latin American Policy (LAP) to a quarterly publication, reflecting its growth and influence in international academic circles. The first 2023 issue features a thematic dossier on the Pacific Alliance, highlighting South–South cooperation challenges and opportunities, alongside research on national artificial intelligence strategies in six Latin American countries, the geopolitical dynamics of lithium extraction in Bolivia, Chile, and Argentina, and the institutional history of Bolivia's indigenous organization CONAMAQ. Additionally, it includes an essay analyzing the impact of the Russian invasion of Ukraine on Latin American policies and politics. This expanded periodicity aims to provide more opportunities for scholarly dissemination and enrich readers' understanding of key regional issues.
